The Oxblogger Newsletter is a new project for 2024/25 which starts to address the travesty that Oxford United doesn’t have a fanzine.
Anyone can submit an article whether it’s a short paragraph about Gatlin O’Donkor’s stamp collection or a long-read about Indonesian capital markets. The more variety, the better, the rules are there are no rules – get writing.
Alternatively, you may be interested in helping to improve the design or even have some interest in turning it into a printed version. The aim is to hand this bit of the Oxblogger universe over to you, so if you want to get involved, then let me know.
Undoubtedly, this thing is going to be organic and occasionally shambolic, learning as we go. Hopefully it’ll offer a diverting read.
Issue 1
Dan Curtis reminisces with Peter Rhoades-Brown about the 1987/88 season, Phil Lupton takes a deep dive into the world of Oxford goalkeepers, Dunstan Allison-Hope fulfills the dream of us having a fourth stand (in Lego) and Jonny Biscuits taking on the scourge of charity auctions. A smorgasbord, you might say.
Plus, there are the results of the Oxblogger end of season survey, a review of Tim Williams’ interview on the Price of Football podcast and much more.
Here’s the admin, if you want to submit an article, get in touch or you have an idea about improving the Oxblogger newsletter in some other way, I’d love to hear from you.
Or, if you want to subscribe or unsubscribe then the next step is the same:
